Code of Conduct:

DO. prides itself on providing a high quality service, and to uphold the following;

  • Engage in an honest manner and communicate appropriately the number of hours foreseen to complete projects and the work involved.
  • DO. will be upfront about rates and any other fees.
  • DO. will show up at the agreed time and in a professional manner.
  • DO. will provide a quality service; including bringing the equipment deemed necessary for decluttering and organising.
  • DO. will respect its clients and their homes by using respectable language and treating their homes and personal belongings with care.
  • DO. will dispose of ‘clutter’ in accordance to DO.s ethics – recycling, reuse and repurpose and dispose of rubbish legally.
  • DO. respects privacy and confidentiality. Due to the nature of its work, DO. is committed to respecting its clients privacy and confidentiality. Client’s names and addresses will not be shared with third parties, unless agreed upon, and confidentiality is respected at all times. DO. will seek permission to share any photos online and will omit specific locations and names in online posts.

Terms and Conditions of Fees and Payment

  • DO. will quote its day rate (6 hours), half-day rate (3 hours), or hourly rate fees, either verbally, via email or by text, and we will disclose other potential costs, such as; third party costs (i.e. rubbish removal, furniture removal). 
  • DO.’s fees include, travel costs (within a 35km radius of Sydney CBD), tolls, taking items to charity stores and time buying supplies for packing or storage.
    • Any charges for storage solutions and packing materials are charged back to the customer at the time of invoicing. 
    • Trips to charity shops or recycling centres are part of the time worked.
    • DO. may request a deposit of 25% payable upfront prior to the the work commencing.
  • DO. will supply an invoice at the completion of each day, half-day, and or hour(s) worked. This invoice will be emailed and is payable within 7 days of the completion of the work.
    • DO. can be paid via BSB transfer or BPay.
    • A cancellation fee of 50% of the rate quoted will be charged if the job is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to when the job is scheduled.
  • DO. has QBE Insurance Broadform Public and Products Liability Insurance.
