A total basket case.

I’m a total basket case. Not in the sense you’re thinking. In fact, I would describe myself as having OCD, an A-type personality, I’m in control and organised (you know that). Alright, admittedly, I can be a bit of basket case, just ask hubby. Recently, I’ve had clients ask how I can do what I do; look at a mess and not feel overwhelmed, as they often do. Oh-CD!

CDs? Compact Discs? Remember them? Or perhaps for the younger folk; ever heard of them? While vinyl has had its revival I’m not sure CDs will. Yet CDs are still lurking around… and you know where? Thing is, in small space living, or any space living really, the box or boxes take SPACE! Having the Lego pieces jumbled into a big mess is also not a solution either especially when like our daughter you want to be Read more

Deep shelf-pity

I’m going to be honest I have been suffering from some shelf-pity – rather deep shelf-pity. My very own kitchen pantry is at the heart of my anxiety. You see; my pantry has very deep shelves. Deep shelves are a worst nightmare to any cupboard or pantry. The challenge is always being able to reach at the back as well as the front while trying to keep everything in the middle not chaotic and accessible. Read more
