A total basket case.

Published by Valerie on

I’m a total basket case. Not in the sense you’re thinking. In fact, I would describe myself as having OCD, an A-type personality, I’m in control and organised (you know that). Alright, admittedly, I can be a bit of basket case, just ask hubby. Recently, I’ve had clients ask how I can do what I do; look at a mess and not feel overwhelmed, as they often do. Or, how I can simply want to do what I DO. But when I see a mess I’m energised, enthused and totally ready to transform a space, into a tidy, liveable space. So what’s the point of this blog? Well I’m perhaps not a full-time basket case butI am a little crazy for a good basket! (Sorry cheesy segue)

And you’ll find them everywhere in my house…

Under the sink with dish washing accessories and another for clean baby rags and bibs…next shelf down for the dirty rags.

In the bathroom…

For hair brushes, dryer, kid’s hair products. And if you have deep shelves, a basket for products least used at the back.

Hidden inside my ‘everything’ hall closet with candles.

In the kid’s room.

Baskets? Why? So many?

They work. I love them; they’re easy to pull out, easy to throw things into to contain the mess, they can be stacked, stored behind each other. They just work. And on any shelf. Currently, I love these Sistema baskets from Woolies https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/646654/sistema-laundry-stack-nest-basket, of course Ikea, Kmart have loads. So many baskets (cases) everywhere! Now, your turn: Are you a basket case?
